# SpokenEdit > SpokenEdit is a browser-based audio review platform for audiobook publishers, recording studios, voice artists and podcast production teams. It brings timestamped feedback, recording versions and chapter approvals into a shared workflow. Projects contain chapters with MP3 recordings. Reviewers can listen in the browser and place markers with comments at specific points in the audio. Revised recordings can be stored as additional chapter versions. A PDF manuscript can be added for reading alongside an audiobook recording. Registered members collaborate through studio and project roles. A person needs an account to become a studio or project member. External guests can review without an account through a review link. Whether guests can add markers and comments depends on that link's permissions. Review links can be revoked. Recording, editing, mixing and inserting pickups take place in the user's existing audio production software. SpokenEdit organizes human review and approvals; it does not automatically compare speech with a manuscript or edit audio. A free plan, paid subscriptions and a time-limited Event Ticket are available. Current prices, capacity limits and file retention periods are listed on the pricing sections of the homepages. The English website is spokenedit.com. The German website is spokenedit.de.
